What is Medical

Medicine is a science and an art that is learned about the disease and ways of healing. Medical science is a branch of medical science that studies how to maintain and restore human health humans in good health by providing treatment to disease and injury. This includes knowledge about the science of the human body systems and diseases and their treatment, and the application of that knowledge.

The practice of medicine is done by medical professionals-doctors typically the medical profession and other groups that include nurse or pharmacist. Historically, only the doctor was considered practicing medicine literally, compared with professions related to health care. The medical profession is the social and occupational structure of the group of people formally trained and authorized to apply medical science. In various countries and jurisdictions, there are legal restrictions on who is entitled to practice medicine or health-related fields.

Medical science is generally considered to have a wide range of specialist branches, from pediatrics (pediatrics), gynecology (the study of disease in women), neurology (neurology), to cover other areas such as sports medicine, and public health.

System of medicine and health care practices have evolved in different human societies at least since the beginning of human history carrying. These systems have evolved in many different ways and many different cultures and different areas. What is meant by modern medical science in general is a medical tradition that developed in the Western world since the beginning of the modern era. Various measures of health and traditional medicine is still practiced all over the world, where most of the considered separate and distinct from Western medicine, which is also called biomedical or Hippocratic tradition.

System of medicine other than the most developed system is a West Indian tradition of Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine. Various non-conventional health care traditions also developed in the Western world that is different from medical science in general. In many places, the system of Western medicine is often practiced together with local traditional medical systems or other medical system, though it is also considered competing or even contradictory.

Veterinary medicine or veterinary medicine is commonly called medical practice devoted to the species of animals and a medicine other than for humans.

History of Medicine

Medicine based evidence (evidence-based medicine) is an action that is now done to provide an effective way of working and using the scientific method and modern global information science.

Now, the science of genetics has influenced medical science. It begins with the discovery of genes that cause various diseases caused by genetic disorders, and the development of molecular biology techniques.

Science herbalism evolved into pharmacology. Modern era really began with Heinrich Hermann Robert Koch's discovery that the disease is spread through bacteria (around 1880), which is then followed by the discovery of antibiotics (circa 1900's).
